Jeffrey D. LaFerla, OD FAAO

Dr. Jeff LaFerla attended optometry school at Indiana University and completed a Contact Lens Residency at the University of Missouri - St. Louis. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. A native of Carthage, MO, he now resides at Weatherby Lake with Dr. Joni and their two sons. Dr. Jeff is a contributing author to USA Triathlon Life magazine as well as an Iron Distance Triathlete; finishing the Oklahoma City Redman Triathlon (2.4 mile swim / 112 mile bike / 26.2 mile run) in September 2009.

Joni K. LaFerla, OD

Dr. Joni LaFerla attended optometry school at the University of Missouri - St. Louis where she graduated with honors. She then completed a residency in ocular disease and geriatric eye care at the Kansas City VA Medical Center. In 2008 Dr. Joni became the first woman president of the Heart of America Contact Lens Society. A former collegiate pitcher and first baseman, Dr. Joni is a native of Omaha, NE and enjoys boating and reading.
